Goed, Barack Obama is niet bij ons langs geweest en wel bij Tony Blair, en dat hij Balkenende ook overgeslagen heeft, is een schrale troost, maar vandaag laat hij gelukkig weer van zich horen, via een uitnodiging, zij het slechts bij monde van zijn campagnemanager, David Plouffe:"Dear Friend --Wij zijn weleens in Denver geweest en zouden best de Democratic National Convention willen meemaken, maar wij hadden al andere plannen, dus dat feest gaat niet door. Hieronder plaatsen wij een foto die wij ergens in Colorado gemaakt hebben. Het bord wijst naar Nederland, leuk hè?
